50 Year Celebration of Village of Round Lake Heights or are Mayor Trustees Celebrating/Promoting Themselves The party colors for the Party for Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow were yellow and blue in the last election as seen in the picture.  The Round Lake Heights 50 year celebration signs put up on the south side of the village along Lotus drive were also created with the same party colors.  One burning question comes to mind... is this celebration about the last 50 years of the people in our village or is it a celebration about many of the current Trustees and Mayor and their politics?  Is it a celebration of the Village Board or the people in the village?

Lumpkins Arrested for Battery at Richard's Chicken and Ribs Located in Round Lake Heights Mayor Terry Lumpkins father Richard Lumpkins was arrested for battery on 02/27/2010 @ 3:20am and in the police report it states, "RICHARD LUMPKINS DID WITHOUT LEGAL JUSTIFICATION GRAB WITH HIS HANDS THE NECK OF KELLI M. SPEAR AND SHOVED HER THUS COMMITTING A BATTERY."
