Round Lake Heights Police Officer Donald Anderson Involved in Serious Traffic Accident

At close to midnight Cencom called Round Lake Beach officers to an accident across from Burger King near Rollins and Cedar Lake Road.  Round Lake Heights Police Officer Donald Anderson and an unknown other person or people driving in a Ford Fusion were involved in an accident that left Donald Anderson's Round Lake Heights Police car upside down.  Traffic on Rollins Rd. was completely shut down.  Round Lake Heights Sergeant Roehlk and Police Chief Don Johnson were notified of the accident.  At 12:23am Round Lake Heights Police Chief Don Johnson arrived on scene.  Cencom notified Donald Anderson's wife about the accident.
